All Purpose - Printer-friendly version

We wanted to share someone very special with you, someone bright enough to challenge us, to help us explore our creativity, and get us to think "outside-of-the-box."

We looked far and wide for our speaker. We had to do some digging to find this world famous scientist, because...(whisper your secret) he died in 1955!

A high school drop out, he turned our understanding of physics upside down, and is here to nudge our neurons to make the most of the challenges facing our industry today.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Put your thinking caps on, open your imagination and Please join me in a rousing (Organization's name) welcome for "The Person of the Century..."

The switcher-oo - Printer-friendly version

(Fake them out with a last minute substitute speaker)

As you know, we were planning on having Dr. Arden Bercovitz (Ber•co•vitz) speak with us today. Dr. Bercovitz is a scientist who helps people explore and expand their creativity.

I got an urgent phone call from him this morning, saying he can't speak to us, today. However, he did recommend a good friend to us, someone who can take his place, and speak expertly on the same topic.

I don't know much about our replacement speaker, except that he dropped out of high school and went on to win the Nobel Prize in Physics. He is here to nudge our neurons to make the most of the challenges facing our industry today.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Put your thinking caps on, open your imagination and please join me in a rousing welcome for "The Person of the Century..."

When he's a secret - Printer-friendly version

Because we wanted a special presentation for this part of our program, we had to do some digging to find someone very special, indeed. He is a scientist and humanist who appreciated the gravity of how influential ideas can be. Please don't make light of his visit here today. You will find plenty of thought-provoking nuggets in his remarks.

Our speaker doesn't need an introduction, not really. He's been in all the media. You've probably heard of him. Not a day goes by without some mention of him, in business magazines, on TV, even in the comics! He is one of the world's best known geniuses.

He has also been thought of as both a genius and an idiot! Many people think he was the first absent-minded professor!

Today he is here to help us explore and expand our creativity, and to help us Think "Outside-the-Box."

We have done the impossible...we have raised the dead, just for you. Please give a very warm (group name) welcome to "The Person of the Century..."

Combo for Arden, as Einstein - Printer-friendly version

As you may know, we invited Dr. Albert Einstein to speak with us today. Before I introduce Einstein, I'd like to tell you a bit about the person who brings him to us. Einstein is portrayed by Dr. Arden Bercovitz (Ber•co•vitz), of Vista, California. Arden earned his Ph.D. in Repro•duc•tive Endo•crin•ology from the University of Missouri at Columbia. He worked as a researcher at the San Diego Zoo for 12 years, studying Endangered Species.

In 1998 Arden obtained Certified Speaking Professional status through the National Speakers Association and is past President of the San Diego Chapter.

Since he took Einstein on the road in 1988, Arden has spoken to a wide variety of corporate and association groups, including AT&T, Motorola, Hewlett Packard and Dow Corning.

(Take a breath)

And now to introduce our special guest, "Einstein". Despite early childhood learning disabilities, Albert Einstein became one of the most profound thinkers of any century. A high school drop out, he managed to earn a Ph.D., and, at the age of 42, he was awarded the Nobel Prize, in Physics!

Fascination about Einstein is contagious. Today, he is here to help us have more bright ideas, to share his tools of thought, and to inspire us to explore and expand our creativity, to help us think outside the box.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Put your thinking caps on, open your imagination and please join me in a rousing (Organization's name) welcome for "The Person of the Century..."
